Implementation is faster and more predictable, as it builds on preconfigured best practices. Customizations are possible, but through the SAP Business Technology Platform – not by modifying the core. The Private Cloud offers more flexibility for individualization, but is more complex and costly to operate. PART focuses on the Public Cloud because it is the better choice for most mid-sized companies in the process industry.

How long does an SAP Cloud ERP implementation take?

Project duration depends on scope. A finance-focused project typically runs 4 to 6 months; a project with a manufacturing scope runs 6 to 9 months. Before the actual project begins, there is a Digital Discovery Assessment – around 20 hours, spread across several sessions. In the DDA, we work through your requirements together, define the scope, and lay the foundation for a binding offer. From Phase 2 (Prepare) onwards, project implementation begins.
